Delete Your Account

Summary

You can delete your account yourself in the app in under a minute, or by email. Your conversations, memories and profile are removed. A few records we are legally required to keep are retained for a limited time.

1. Delete in the app

Open Me (bottom right).
Tap Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm twice. The second confirmation exists because this cannot be undone.

You are signed out immediately and the account stops working at once.

2. Delete by email

If you cannot use the app, write to ffan45972@gmail.com from the email address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm from that address. We act within one month; usually within a few days.

3. What is deleted

your profile, email address and sign-in credentials;
all conversations and memories;
your preferences and settings.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Data	Retention	Why
Backups containing your account	30 days after you delete your account	disaster recovery; the account is not restored from them
Moderation and safety records, including any report to authorities	as long as the safety purpose or legal obligation requires	legal obligation

5. Getting a copy first

Before you delete, you can ask for a copy of your data by writing to ffan45972@gmail.com. See section 7 of the Privacy Notice.
